Medium to deep garnet-purple colored, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Private Reserve has a pronounced nose of crème de cassis, warm black plums and mulberries with suggestions of cloves, violets and dried Mediterranean herbs plus a waft of pencil lead. Full-bodied and jam-packed with black fruit, herbs and spicy layers, it has a firm line of grainy tannins and tons of freshness, finishing long and perfumed.

Pale to medium ruby-purple colored, the 2015 Pinot Noir Private Reserve has a very pretty nose of potpourri and rose hips with a core of cranberries, Bing cherries and raspberry leaves plus a touch of underbrush. The palate is medium-bodied and elegantly played with a solid frame of grainy tannins and oodles of freshness supporting the perfumed red berry flavors, finishing with an herbal lift.

Medium garnet-purple colored, the 2015 Zinfandel Private Reserve has quite a spicy nose with notions of allspice and powdered cinnamon over a core of raspberry pie, blueberry preserves and raisin cake plus a touch of dried flowers. Full-bodied, rich and decadently fruited in the mouth, it has a chewy frame and lively line of freshness, finishing on a spicy note.

Medium garnet-purple colored, the 2016 Valdiguie gives up fragrant notes of violets, Chinese five spice and raisin cake with nuances of black tea, Sichuan pepper and tapenade. Full-bodied and laden with black berries and spice layers, it has a firm frame of chewy tannins and invigorating freshness, finishing with plenty of spring in its step.

The 2015 Zinfandel Forgotten Vines is medium garnet-purple colored and opens with lovely potpourri and baking spice notes over a core of Black Forest cake, dried mulberries and prunes plus touches of fried herbs and new leather. Opulently fruited with loads of spicy berry preserves flavors and a chewy frame, it has a good long, refreshing finish.
